I have a male character and would like the romance to be with Isabela. We had slept together, but thereafter slept with Anders (whored myself for those friend points haha). Anyways, now Anders and my character are in love, and I really want that to be Isabela instead. Is there anyway to make it go back to isabela?

I don't think so. Maybe you should just reload your save.

Well I didn't know that Anders would now be staying at my house, I just wanted the friend points. I'm far past that save point, and now am in the 3rd section after what happens with the Qunari.

I hate the romance system in this game, not just because almost every character is bi-curious, like if I just want to be friend and get the bonus without having a bunch of options thrown in my face to romance another guy, which I find disgusting. Maybe someone could make a heterosexual mod, where you can do this without having m2m thrown in your face. I would just like to play a game that is not a complete sausagefest.
This kind of sentiment can be made without using terms and phrases that can offend others.
And honestly there's those that are offended from the flipside of the coin, but they state their opinions a lot better than this.
Lets just move away from this part of the conversation, OK? -DarkeWolf

That's not very nice. It isn't "disgusting"... everything you just said is very rude, especially with your use of the F word. You really ought to avoid talking that way, I won't say anything but others will be very offended and upset by that.
It's pretty easy to keep a completely platonic friendship with everyone if you choose the right dialog options and avoid the "flirty" options (marked by a heart).

This happens every single time there's a homosexual option in a game.
Certain people will equate "option" with "force". I recall equally vile posts about Zevran when DA:O was new. "Oh he's forcing me into a guy on guy relationship!" No. No he isn't. Grow up.

I haven't played DA2 yet - I'm all DA'd out atm, so I'll get to it shortly.
In the Zevran romance, you got the choice to refuse the bromance (likewise with Leliana if you didn't want an FF romance).
I'd be very, very surprised if you didn't get the same choice(s) in DA2.

@crimsonedge11: The disgust is silly,
in my experience as playing the female Hawk the girls (Merrill and Isabela) doesn't even initiate the romance, but you do; all the males on the other hand initiates, but are easily turned down without any consequence.
It's a bit like being disgusted that you CAN kill innocent people in the game, even if you don't have to.
& Opposed to DA:O there is no ninjaromances around, since your dialogue options are always clearly marked.
I like it since its only a small immersion loss that they ALL are potentially bi-sexual, or they don't behave bi-sexual tendencies (besides Isabela) unless you decide that they should be; but it gives people so much more when it comes to options. And since I often play a female version, mainly since I never play myself in Roleplaying games and have a weakness for strong women, its nice that I are not just thrown one companion to romance (even if I don't see myself as the main character, I can't do the female(player) to male romances. Also the voice of the male Hawk doesn't work for me, makes every dialogue awkward.
& The same with women playing male characters, or just any LGBT/HBT player; its a curtsey that makes the game more rewarding for many, while its only really seen as options in the dialogue wheel unless you want it, and as a bonus makes biggots crawl against the walls.
@ OP: Isabela is someone you can have sex with before any other romance it seems, but she will back off since she has a good heart, and doesn't want to hurt the others by continuing your escapades after you complete the "move in with me" phase of any other romance. Or at least that's how I understand it.
Anyway they keep polygamy out of it in DA2; its a bit surprising that they do since what, 40% of the world is polygamous? (60% are monogamous) ~ besides all the people in the west that keep having relations outside their primary relationship. (cheaters, or not). Actually Isabella allows for a triage in DA2, and a foursome in DA:O, so maybe I should take that back.
@ Sync182: They are even clearer in DA2. Every romance option is marked with a golden heart, every option to end a romance is marked with a broken black heart, and all else is continue as usual (and it seems that if you ever ever use the black heart they never ever try again, maybe that Isabela would, but haven't tried that).
The only remark I would have of this is that I gave one ounce of romance to Merrill at one point, and then stepped off avoiding any romance option for just normal conversations; and then 3-6 years later she was hoping that my character loved her, but you can easily brush it off, and unlike DA:O you won't get a huge negative hit relation wise. At one point you even gain relationship wise by ending it.

This should be in the spoilers section imo.
Romances are bad in this game. Beyond the cutscenes, there's literally nothing else pointing that you and a companion are together.

Yes, I agree on the after the fact part; but that was partly true in DA:O as well. Anyway I've only tried Isabela, and its mentioned a few times, esp. once she sides with you despite herself. Also when you meet the Elven Assassin.
There are also some talk when you are around town, but they could easily have added more to it.
But then it feels a bit like DA:O and ME1&2.
Might remember it badly, but I believe it was handled rather well in the Witcher; albeit with only 2 options, and I only tried the one were I stayed with the sorceress opposed to the healer; but there was some nice jealousy, and it would be mentioned more than here. (only 2 romances, but 11-13 girls if I remember it correct)
