I thought they got back in after being exiled at the start of Origins. Years have passed since then

Or did it happen a second time? o_O

Given that Cailan was such a huge Grey Warden fanboy you'd think he would've given them anything they'd ever need along with the flashiest armour available stammped with griffons and everything.

Haha, true, true.

As in DA:O, in my opinion, the best looking armor set is the Sentinel set. The jet black armor and dragonhead stamp on the chestplate are pretty cool.

As in DA2, however, I haven't played it that far, just reached the Qunari-related political unrest part of the game. Maybe you can share your opinion on what I should expect to wear for my warrior Hawke? =)

I thought the grey wardens in DA2 were dicks.. I mean when they go "no sorry we can't help cause we don't get involved in politics but here have this crappy charm" as the city burns around you ... makes no sense since from what I remember all you did in DA:O as a warden WAS get involved in everyone else's political matters.. even as far as choosing an entire peoples kind

If you bump into Alistair instead of Stroud he mentions that the Wardens didn't like how heavily involved in politics the Fereldan Order was, even with the blight.

that still doesn't make them any less of dicks.. I mean they won't help out in political problems of the nation they live in yet they expect people to join them when they need to raise an army.. and since everywhere other than Fereldon (when they were exiled) they were land owners and as such represented people as part of the nation they ARE politicians to some extent ... besides when you encounter them they are fighting Quanari anyway (presumably to get out of the city) it wouldn't be that different for them to lend some support.. they could have at least helped protect the innocent civilians..

Politics? It's a foreign invasion. For the Grey Wardens to not lend their support with that is dickery extreme.
Honestly if there's another Blight and the Wardens come to need Kirkwall's army they've got every right to say "Yeah sorry, we don't get involved in the Grey Warden's politics, bye!".

lol ah but they do give you a crappy trinket that was out leveled by better hours earlier! Seriously, they should have given you the option to be like "WTF is this" and murder knife him
