styer27 Posted August 26, 2015 Share Posted August 26, 2015 I recently installed the longwar mod for xcom enemy within, after a few weeks play, i am highly impressed, and wanted to thank those involved, for such a superbly done mod, i wouldnt think of playing vanilla again, the mod really is that good. Xcom has always been my favorite franchise, ever since dos and ps1, and although i was "happy" with the new game, i still felt it lacked in areas, and left me feeling it left the production line a little too early. For me most of all it was the reduction of 20+ troopers down to 4 and the removal of alot of weapons choices that left we wanting more from my new favorite game. Your mod has changed that all and made a great game ... fantastic!. The mod itself was one of easiest to install ive ever had, great tutorials and easy to manage packges. The positive changes are too many to name, overall, the replay-ability now has improved drastically, your mod does what viagra does to an aging marriage! hahah. I hope you guys get the credit you deserve for the hard work and professionalism you put into this, and a spot on the development/modding with the upcoming Xcom2 game i hope! My heartfelt thanks!
