Hi Just Getting Started

I've just downloaded the skyrim modding kit and am syched to get started. I've never modded anything before but I wanted to start because I was tired of having to leave valuable treasure behind in skyrim and wanted something to make all weapons weight nothing.

Not sure where I should start to learn though so if you have any ideas on that I'm all ears. if you already know where a current mod is that already does that don't tell me because I do want to learn to do it.

I cant help you with your mod because I don't know how, but I have tried to find tutors or help for my quest mod idea, but to no avail.

I'd like some people to learn with, and I may be of some help to you too.

Well I see where you can modify the weight of each weapon one by one but I think that would be pretty time consuming.I was thinking of adding a item in the game, a amulet that when worn would cause all weapons in your inventory to weigh 0. As far as I can see you can't do this strictly from the amulet itself and will probably have to add a script to the amulet to make it work. But when I go to edit the amulet pressing add script does nothing.

 

As far as teaming up I don't see any problem with it as far as bouncing ideas off each other.. It might be a good way of keeping myself motivated.
