masoncravens Posted August 27, 2015 Share Posted August 27, 2015 Occasionally when i go to loot the body of someone, if i take an item of clothing/armor off of them and exit the menu, i CTD. If you want to purge them manually you can always type "pcb" in the console, or alternatively, you can use a tool like Zan AutoPurge Crash Protector http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/49319/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fnewvegas%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D49319&pUp=1 to automatically purge cells through given intervals, all configurable through MCM. SeraphimDreams Posted August 27, 2015 Share Posted August 27, 2015 I didn't mean time as in how long the save has been around, but just for how long you're playing before each crash. If it crashes every hour or so then it's probably a cell buffer problem. If you restart your game and reload a save just before you crashed, and the game performs just fine for about the same amount of time before it crashes again, most definitely a cell buffer problem.
