Gray face on custom NPC. No not THAT gray face

I know about the gray face bug, it's all over the internet when you google it, along with the solution of exporting the face data after each modification of the NPC.

 

 

This appears to be different. The face is sort of grayish and kind of off. You can even tell the color is wrong when you look at it in the CK

 

I changed the custom hair. This is my first time trying to modify a follower so I am probably doing something wrong.
