EXTENZZO
Hi.I received a new monitor basically, the native resolution of it is 1680x1050.Before acquiring the monitor, I would play on something lower than 1280x1024, that's as much as I can remember. I've had some trouble trying to change it to a higher resolution but nothing worked for some reason, but anyways, that's not the topic.Once I got the new monitor, my resolution [probably automatically] changed to 1280x1024. Also not the topic, just might be worth knowing. My problem is that, to launch Skyrim, I have to turn down my monitors resolution to 1280x1024 or it will show me:http://puu.sh/jRxeg/e5973cf2ba.png I CANNOT PLAY ON ANY OTHER RESOLUTION UNLESS IT'S 1280x1024 I've tried fooling around with the resolutions and aspect ratio through the launcher, skyrimprefs.ini file etc., but nothing works. I simply want to play on 1680x1050 and I believe that it's possible, I've seen videos with that resolution but I'm not sure if any mods or 3rd party software was used. What can I do to be able to play on the highest native res, guys? It's really annoying having to lower your res everytime I want to play it, and low res on a high res monitor is really annoying because I play other games, too. I'm running the game through the SKSE launcher shortcut. GTS 450 gpu, latest drivers. No matter if I selected windowed mode or 'show all resolutions' on the launcher, nothing works, have to set my monitors res to 1280x1024 just to launch the game on the same res. BlackShruikan
Maybe the video card does not support 1680x1050 ?
