I tried this mod, but didn't like the fact that you have to go through a monster-filled dungeon in order to use the forge. For multiple enchantments I prefer the Advanced Magecraft mod.

Well, the Adventurer found me once I stopped raiding the forts. I just took a long leisurely stride on the road surrounding the Imperial City Lake - and sure enough, there was group of people fighting on the road - and one of them was the Adventurer.
I have found the other guy, then travelled to Bruma, recovered his notes, learnt the location of the Forge, entered the Forge, killed a shitload of Liches and the Master Smith, fired up the Forge with Verla stone and...ZILCH. No matter whether I put anything into the chest or not, the Anvil does not work.
The mod is nice, it would be good if it worked...
The problem may be with the fact that I also have quite a lot of other mods running - but still, it would be nice if the Anvil worked...
If anyone could give me a hint - maybe I am doing something wrong.
Also - have no idea what SME keys are supposed to do. Am I dumb ?

Hey I love the mod and it works great but one problem i'm haveing is that I cant remove enchantments. I'm a master in armorer AND mysticism so I really dont see why its not working.

This mod is looking really good, but I have a few comments:
1. The quest to get to the forge - it's great to see someone putting that much effort into a mod like this, but a few things in it are a bit weird! Possibly because of message silencing options I have switched on, I hadn't a clue what was going on with the adventurer. He just showed up and wouldn't talk about anything related to the quest, and then just followed me round. I seriously thought something was broken, but after reloading a couple of times he finally got killed and I found the hammer on his corpse. I think it needs a bit more exposition from the adventurer.
The note found on Rothary's corpse could be a bit more descriptive too! The only way to find the diary is to follow the quest-marker, but it'd be so easy to include a few lines in the note explaining where the diary is, so people who don't like having to be led around by the nose could find it by themselves. Same goes for the diary telling you about the Forge.
2. This one's short: The Forge is way too full of Bosses! Jesus Christ! I have a CoreI7 system and it kept crashing in there with all the summoning. Plus it's a bit immersion-breaking, all those egotistical Liches together in one place. It reminded me a bit of Doom!
3. The forging process: I couldn't get the instructions from the forge itself. I took a look in TES4Edit and didn't see any script attached to it - could that be the problem? Also, when I put a piece of Morag Tong armour (two enchantments) into the Forge Chest, as soon as I touched the Anvil, the armour was removed! I'm Apprentice in Mysticism and Armorer, but it won't work. No pop-up or anything, just a message in the corner saying the item was removed. So that's a bit of a bummer.
I haven't endorsed the file yet, but I definitely will if you can explain/resolve that last point - have I missed something? I thought I should be able to add one more enchantment to the MT Armour at my level... The rest is just some constructive criticism; it's looking great, so thanks!

Well, I've endorsed this mod now. For some reason the Morag Tong problem only showed up the first time I loaded a savegame with the mod active; next time was fine. So thanks!

so - "Finding The Forge:
Don't try and look for it. Keep an eye open for the Hammer of the Master Smith. You will find it on an adventurer's corpse."
Ok, so I can wait anywhere in Oblivion (not looking for it by the way) and all of a sudden an adventurer and a forge will magically appear? Didn't think so. Where is this dungeon located?
EDIT: I guess I hadn't closed out the menu that pops up - a quest just showed up which seems to solve my issue. But even so, after I receive the hammer, where do I go to ask about it?
