Lag when turning, but only for the first time

Hey, so I'm having a weird issue where the first time I load up Skyrim, if I turn even the slightest bit, the game lags for about half a second, then is fine.
If I do a 180 degree turn, the game lags for 2 seconds, then is fine.

This only happens after I enter a new area, or after travelling outside for awhile. Turning becomes normal after I look at the area around me.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

My specs are:

Intel i7 4790K 4.00 GHz
16 GBs of RAM
NVIDIA GTX 980m

and this is my mod list, plus Realvision ENB

You need to tweak your Skyrim & ENB ini files.

The standard Realvision setup works for most video setups. Not for others.

For example. I did a standard Realvision install for my GTX 970 & 980. They both worked perfectly. It took 3 weeks of ini tweaking to get my GTX 98 ti running as well.

Use the S.T.E.P. guide http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:ENBlocal_INI http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:ENBseries_INI

I thought I had tweaked it enough but apparently not, as I have enough VRAM (4gb+) to enable UnsafeMemoryHacks, and that did the trick as far as I can tell.

Thanks, jones177!

Enableunsafememoryhacks is a testing setting and its use is generally not recommended. I would suggest that your problem is elsewhere. Have you enabled disablepreloadtovram by any chance? Enabling this would cause one time only turn stutter. Make sure it set to disabled. Might be best for you to simply post your enblocal.ini so we can see what the problem is.
