I'm a good way into the game, but i find that a "Heal Other" spell would be handy. Unfortunately I don't have one, and can't find the code to cheat it on. Can anyone help please?

You can make one or buy one (Buy one at any church...Convalence...should work) You can make one when you complete all mages guild recommendations

Thanks, I remembered when i saw your post, that's EXACTLY what I needed.

By the way, just another question, I hope you know the answer to this. In Morrowind (and of course the expansions), there was an option to make an item (armour, sword(s) or rings for example) as constant effect.

Is there any way to do the same for Oblivion items? I've been looking but to be honest, the only way I could see something like that coming about is to use charged Black Soul Gems but I'm not sure.

You can either join the Mages Guild and use the Enchanting Altar or install one of the many mods that include your own personal Enchanting Altar. Grand or black soul gems provide the same level of enchantment, it's just the black one that can be used to capture NPC souls (i.e. bandits etc.). If you have the Wizard's Tower DLC you can use the enchanting altar in Frostcrag Spire. I just recently downloaded and installed Aranmathi Ayelid Home which has an enchanting altar (thank you DeathbornAeon ... kudos for the link) and has become my latest favourite home.

Thanks again, I had an idea that they were available, but wasn't sure how to go about it,
