I find that the extra appendage to breastplate-like portion of the Champion armour for the mage is rather annoying - do we need really a shelf-like thing on our chest? Is it there to possibly catch food during hasty dinners or the blood dripping from our mouths when we get slammed in the face because it does nothing to protect us?

I would suggest editing the armour so that the breastplate either no longer has that portion, or simply flatten it out into another tier of the three-layered design.

*sighs* Maybe it's just me... I could do without the blood-design on my arm, as well, but that may be just me being nit-picky again.

EDIT: By the way, LordTabookie replied to my comment and it seems like he'd be willing to make a version of the armour without the blood-design/tattoo.... I'll add a post or edit this one if he gets back to me.

First part is not possible. We cannot reach the models of the game, let alone edit them.

Your second part about the texture on the arm is do-able, and I am sure there is something on the nexus for that; have a search.

It was just a thought... for future reference, anyways. I apologize for my ignorance.

No need to apologize; you would expect there to be a toolset due to Bioware's history; but ever since they joined with EA; they've been cutting a lot of corners.

I scoured the mods and found only two people who managed to address the tattoo/blood design, each one changing it but not one removing it. I did, however, left a comment to the one most likely to accomplish the endeavour.

Meanwhile, I've come to the conclusion that I would settle for replacing the armour model with the Warden Armour and asked ELE08 if they'd consider turning their DA II female mage warden armor into a replacement for the Champion armour.

Doesn't matter, Bioware have said they are not making one. I don't know why, it directly effects their profits from the game for releasing something they are probably already using.

Hopefully they'll just patch the first one... *shrugs*

Anywho, I tried editing the files through the GFF editor, and got my Champion armour to use the Warden templates and it kept the basic properties, but I lost the title and I think other things as well... I'm no good at this.

By the way, LordTabookie replied to my comment and it seems like he'd be willing to make a version of the armour without the tattoo.... I'll add a post or edit this one if he gets back to me.
