Skyrim CTD issue

Hello, and thanks for reading.

 

I am an avid skyrim modder, and have a fair few mods, so I was sort of expecting CTD'S to be inevitable.

 

The way that my game CTD's is interesting, as I may quicksave a game; and 30 seconds after the quicksave the game will CTD. I will load the quicksave, and the game will crash more or less after the same amount of time as the first. This has happened in both exteriors and interiors, and I can barely go through 15 minutes of gameplay without an eventual CTD.

Another thing to note is I have cleaned my Skyrim save with the tool, and it is now only 10mb in size, so I am fairly certain my save file is not causing the crash.

Also, I run the game at 50fps+, and my machine can well and truly handle all of these mods, so I assume a mod is corrupt or incompatible.

I hope that i do not have to go through every individual mod to find the culprit, as that is quite tedious.

Hopefully someone can make something of this.

I don't believe memory is a problem

UPDATE: I have discovered that an external program was causing the problem, Skyrim Booster.

After exiting the program I could play skyrim for more than 2 hours without a crash, therefore that was the source of the issue.

But why is this so? How strange Skyrim can behave sometimes.
