Do you removed compiled old shaders: WATERDISPLACE004.pso and WATER011.pso? It is necessary.

Oh man. Thank you so much for this fix! I've been struggling with that brown lava since 2011 :-S
Honestly, you've just increased my chance of actually tackling the main quest of this game (and it's lava-filled oblivion realms) again 10-fold!

Thats unfortunate cuz IMO Wrye Bash plus BOSS is superior to other mod managers. Altho I do HAVE to use OBMM for some. Even if you used WB for just OBGE Core, Standalone Effects and Liquid Water - ITS WORTH IT!!! There is a less daunting Wrye Bash Standalone version thats fairly simple to use, especially for just these 3 mods. And BOSS is super simple to use. Bash, BOSS, activate .esp (thers one for LW). Its that easy.

Uh oh. I have an nVidia card. Hope I dont have that problem below. Or at least can fix it easy enuf. Cuz this mod is freaking AWESOME!!! I am so HAPPY I tried this mod for the water. Its the ONLY water mod to consider! There's a few water mods out there, but honestly don't waste your time trying them. THIS is the ONE!! AND it works well with the OBGE Standalone Effects - when underwater I would get an awful foggy visual cuz of the DOF or SSAO or both without this, but its perfect with this.
There is a glitch - albeit a bearable one - with 1st person view of equipped shield when blocking or readied weapon when only partially in the water. It looks like the relflective quality of the water surface overwrites those images, so I can only see the upper part of of these that are 'sticking out' of the water. If I can figure out how to upload a pic here I will do so, then you can see it. Its far from being a gamebreaker tho...

For the most part, everything works fine. However, I cannot get caustics to show.
I've checked all my ini settings, and I simply can't get the refractions to work. Any suggestions?

Applying the flashing lights fix in the manner detailed below fixed the lights, but screws up the water and makes it behave like a mirror. It appears clear with no texture and just reflectsthe surrounding meshes/textures. Any solutions?

Did you go into C:\Users\"your account"\Documents\My Games\Oblivion\OBGE and change bCompileSources=0 to bCompileSources=1

Great mod, better water mod for oblivion... too bad it need OBGE as it have some issues i cant get over. Someday.... someone can make it stand alone (*hope)
