I would like someone to explain to me why importing a saved game - slot-118 PostCoronation.das - from DAO doesn’t work? I tried three times in a row and the only narration I hear from Varric is the default DA2 version: A version that I have heard the last two times that i have played --using DA2's default version. There is no mention of anything from my saved game. If that makes any sense?!?

The very fact that the Grey Warden who defeated the Archdemon was a Mage from the Ferelden Circle of Magi and who survived: And, is now the hero of Fereldon; is not mentioned. Or, that King Alistair married Queen Anora, and now share the thrown together: Or, anything else relative to my saved game?!? Am I missing something here?

No matter which "World-State" is employed, there is no difference in what Varric says at the start of the game or during the period immedately surrounding your Party's arrival at the Gallows. The events from any DA:O save get mentioned only sporadically thoughout the three Acts. Mostly in throwaway conversations, not the cutscenes (unless the scene includes a cameo appearance by one of the DA:O NPCs. )

Did you check the "Plot Summary" associated with the save you imported, and were the items noted there correct? Did you receive the "Import Successful" message after you clicked "Confirm"? If "yes" to all three, then I don't think you have a problem.
