Looks beautiful Emma. In my opinion this is your best house mod so far. I like the fact that it's spacious and you can move around without bouncing into furniture or other objects and it's not huge to give you that lonelyness feeling. It fits nicely into Oblivion's world and it even has some nice functions the player can enjoy. What more can we ask? With every mod you release you get better and better and if I say that you're as skilled as Korana, I actualy mean that. Keep up the good work dear. :)

Cheers,
Pushkatu

Thank you so much, my friend

I also think this is probably my best house mod so far (although Aleswell is still very close to my heart) - simply because the Ravenhorst modders resource in itself is downright wonderful. And, on top of that, I have been non-stop modding on this for almost two weeks, out of pure, well, love for the beautiful building. I think when modding becomes that passionate, some of it must show in the finished result. At least I do hope so.

As you know, I've never considered myself as much of a house-modder - companions and quests have always been what I've been concentrating on - so I wouldn't ever consider myself to be in the same league as experienced house-modders like Korana et al. Still, it warms my heart that you find this house so likeable. I hope you will continue to enjoy it.

Emma, first of all thanks for the manor, vilja and i love it, fantastic as always. Just a couple of minor issues to report 1. I cant seem to walk up the stairs to the attic i have to jump the first step then i can walk as normal 2. When standing still on the upper floors mine and the companions feet go through the floor and we slide across the room from one side to the other. Any ideas, if you need any more info please ask and thanks again.

Are you using Side's sailing ships?

A playtester noticed something similar but downstairs; we related it to that he was using this mod, which can have such effects. Note that this is not a vanilla house static but a 100 % modder made one, so it could behave a little different. I haven't experienced any problems with the stairs, but I have noticed that although I have pathgridded them thoroughly, Vilja sometimes tend to have to give it a few tries before she can get up over the last step to the attic.

Not that i know of, i have the golden crest which adds a pirate ship but not sure if it uses that mod.

"Companion key chest respawns"

Good--I was worried because my companions tend to 'disappear'--and so would the keys.

Yes, I know - and besides, you might want to add more companions later on.

There are in fact two respawning containers in the mod - the companion key chest and a trashbin in the basement. They should be easily detected, as their names have the suffix "RESPAWNS".

Can you "sail" with this mod? i.e. so you move with the ship?

I tried very hard to reproduce the similar problem that my tester experienced, without result, and then he figured out it was probably this incompatibility. It has to be some kind of incompatibility, I have tested the mod quite a lot and never seen anything like this happen.

Can't wait to try this, Emma! I really loved Aleswell Cottage.

Hope you will enjoy it! I think I know that one of the reasons you downloaded Aleswell was the interaction with Vilja, and I believe I can promise already now that I'll do something similar with bonus-interaction for her with this mod.(Although not just yet)

Is there any way I could use your Red Rose manor as a base for constructing mine? I of course wouldn't use your companion scripts or your quest or anything.

Lol, no, I don't think I have managed to reply to more than half of the posts yet  (I'm watching a movie on telly and try to make one reply during each advertisement break).

Seriously, I think I have to think this over a little before I reply, listen to and evaluate the general feedback and then probably get back to you in a PM and ask a little further what and how you mean. The thought, when you posted it, was new to me, so I am still a bit undecided how I feel about it. Please don't take it as a "no" if I say that I do have to think this over

2) I think the manor itself should have been fenced in somehow (like a small rose shrub fence?). After exploring the inside I ran around the manor

That's a realy good idea. It will only give the player a more "intense" sense of property. not to mention that it will add to the general beauty of the place. One of the Unique landscape mods that alters the area around Chorrol does this at a larger scale(for a town) and it's actualy incredible. I felt safe inside those walls without having a sword in my hand and no armour on. If you do take the time to make this, consider adding a little garden outside with consumables or simply with flowers(who doesn't love flowers? :D). I don't know, I mean since I'm not the one that has to do all the work it's easy for me to say, but it's all up to you. I guess it's becouse I do like the mod so much, since I rarely have any ideas for other mods. I would not mind having a couple of dogs outside to guard my precious property. I better stop now, heheh :P
