This gives most (if not all) of the barter screens more cash. It's not a massive increase, just enough to sell some expensive items to the more established stores. I've increased the NPC's who had over 1000 credits by a factor of "about" 2 thru 4 (the lesser in most cases). The highest I found, in the default game, was about
