Skyrim Freeze on saving

Like in the title, my game freezes whenever I try to save, even Hard Save, there's no CTD, no nothing, It just says it's saving, but it takes forever, and when I open Task Manager, it says Skyrim is not responding. I have lots of Mods, but they worked fine before, and had no problem playing, and saving. I tried everything, even reinstall my game, but to no avail. And it's not just my latest game, every single save is affected by this bug. Also, lately I have upgraded from Windows 7, to 10. Please, anyone, Skyrim is my favourite game, and I have spent lots of time playing it, since it came out, and now I'm at my wit's end, I literally, LITERALLY tried everything, removing mods, resetting .inis, disabling ENBoost, everything, but the game still freezes on save. I've looked everywhere for a solution, but I found nothing, and I'm really desperate, Please, help...

1. Do you have LOOT?

If you don't already please download it immediately, this will tell you about mod incompatibilities, errors and is essential for the next step. [This is Essential for every mod user anyway and is really useful]

2. Check for errors, incompatibilities, requirements you missed.

After using TES5EDIT to order up your mods scroll down the list and check for red and yellow dialogue boxes with info in them, this will tell you about errors and incompatibilities. Take action accordingly.

3. Get TES 5 Edit and cleanup!

Lookup, on YouTube, how to cleanup mods using TES 5 Edit. This will increase FPS, and most importantly reduce CTD's [For future reference that means Crash To Desktop] and freezing. If you don't know which mods need "cleaning" go to LOOT and it should tell you what mods aren't clean.

Best,

Ibrahim

Thanks, but this cannot be a problem with mods, because all my mods and load order worked fine for me since ever, until now, but I haven't modified it anyway, I didn't add or remove mods lately, so it can't be it, I think, the very mechanism of saving the game is bugged, but why?

Make a new skyrim installation that way:

First do a standard uninstall. (Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features-> Uninstall The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim)

Next, delete your skyrim folder under C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\
Then delete your Skyrim directory under Documents\My Games (after backing up your save files, if you wish)
Then under C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Local\ - Delete the Skyrim folder that is in it.
(You should enable to see the hidden files under windows to delete that folder.) HOW: (View - Options - Folder Options - View - Advanced Settings: Show hidden files, folders and drives)
Go to your Steam folder. Delete the folder named appcache. (Important)
Use Ccleaner after all this (http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner), Go to the Registry tab and hit <Scan for issues> - <Fix selected issues...>
Reboot your computer (Important)
Then install your game again, from scratch. !!!!
*** You don't need to uninstall Steam. ***

...as all your saves relying on your mods you should install all of them, sort your load order, clean your dirty edits again, and:
make a copy of a save, and try the following programs on that save you just copied.

Do you know what changed? This exact thing is happening to me. One day everything works. The next - the game freezes when I save. I have not changed any mods nor mod order. I also have Windows 10....and I agree - it's frustrating to not be able to play when I've gotten this far!

I don't know, but now I have another problem, I recklessly tried to reinstall Creation Kit, by uninstalling it via Steam, but in result stupid bullshit platform courtesy of Gaben have deleted Skyrim AND. ALL. MY. MODS. Luckilly My savefiles survived that purge, but now, instead of playing I have to browse through NMM, and reinstall EVERYTHING. f*#@ You Steam.
