interfer0n
Last year, I was modding Skyrim while being extremely cautious with mod conflicts and following directions very carefully, yet I ended up having random CTDs. From October 3rd to October 6th 2015, I wanted to get back into modding Skyrim, and I was able to get atleast 25+ hours of playthrough with 50 mods while only having two CTDs from loading quicksaves. Now (October 7th), these CTDs are still occurring. To try to fix this problem, I installed ENBoost and SKSE Memory Patch, but it feels like they just worsened the stability of my game (more CTDs).Also, I feel like the CTDs are most likely stemming from a mod conflict. If anyone could please help me troubleshoot this issue, I'd appreciate it very much. I'll try to provide as much information as possible: Load Order and Mods Installed (using NMM):http://i1113.photobucket.com/albums/k519/cyto1/loadOrderMods_zpsg4dyte3t.png *NOTE: I also installed ENBoost (following Gopher's tutorial),and SKSE Memory Patch (following this video... ) Skyrim.ini:http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=5AHHNk0E SkyrimPrefs.ini:http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=7M8qwGP9 Launcher Graphical Settings:Default: Ultra Settings with Anti-aliasing and filtering turned on The CTDs give no error message; it's your typical very-quick CTD.At first, these CTDs were only occurring when loading quicksaves or quicksaving during sessions. Now, I just recently had two CTDs: right after loading was done when riding carriage, and during an attempt to kill an attacking wolf with a bow and arrow including the slowing-down time effect archery skill. I am familiar with LOOT and TES5Edit, but I only used them to see the cause of CTD after Bethesda logo and use LOOT to properly sort the load order. In other words, I have not used them with my current playthrough, but I highly doubt it will fix my CTD issue, because I was still crashing in-game during the last time I used LOOT and TES5Edit. I also used to check Papyrus Logs before, but I didn't know how to read them. If those logs help and are needed, I'll try to get them if I crash again. Regardless if my issue does not get fixed, I want to thank all the mod authors for doing what they do and sharing their creativity with us! jpm22112
HiFirstly I notice you have not installed the unofficial skyrim patches, this is a must have for any modded skyrim as it fixes a lot of the major issues with the game. Next I would recommend cleaning your games master files with tes5edit (watch this video http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=tes5edit%20gopher&qs=n&form=QBVR&pq=tes5edit%20gopher&sc=0-9&sp=-1&sk=#view=detail&mid=1858035A9112C89A79421858035A9112C89A7942)this) this will help make your game far more stable. Also create a bashed patch with wryebash this will help with some of the mod conflicts stemming from the levelled lists (watch this video http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=create+a+bashed+patch&FORM=HDRSC3#view=detail&mid=3A6F1EF691CE55C70D063A6F1EF691CE55C70D06) hope this helps.
