Alright, turned out that Shivering Isles installed badly (was wondering why I wasn't getting the strange door quest) and now that I reinstalled it, Frostcrag Reborn is working beautifully. Haven't done much with it so far, but I am giving it my endorsement even so, love the new tower and am anxious to get to the quests!

This was full of grandeur, a very enjoyable experience. The quest areas were so vast and well done that they really pulled me right into the story. Thank you

I have to say, you've done an amazing job with this overhaul, but I've spent two days pulling out my hair on the quests.
There don't necessarily -have- to be quest markers, but it would have been nice if the quest updates actually stayed in my quest log... I spent 4 hours lost, running in circles, and dizzy last night. I couldn't take it anymore. I had no references to pull from. The books/Ravings didn't give hardly -anything- in the ways of clues because they don't actually refer to anything besides the final boss (once you actually get to avalon). or the Lich Students. I don't know if it was because my character is short, or the furniture is too tall, but I spent an hour running circles in the Mage Hall trying to find the Deepness key. Turns out it was on top of a shelf that was too high above eye level for me to notice it.
Maybe if I played as an Orc I would have been tall enough... (Cute Elf, whee~)
Avalon itself was BEAUTIFUL! I adored the space. Too much of it though :. I just spent another 5 hours this morning trying to find my way around. Lack of quest clues/updates makes it really hard to remember what I'm supposed to be doing 2 hours in. Not to mention, I don't recall very many of them explaining who/where I was supposed to find the people holding the necessary keys (Never found Firaga Dorn's key).
In the end I used TCL/TGM/Unlock console commands to get around. Even after I looked up the walkthrough (Which really doesn't help when it says "at the end of one of the long walkways at surface level" ). There's a lot of those.
I still haven't found Taylin. -.-; I've been around every cave entrance in this region. No dead body.
One way or another it is an awesome mod considering it's main purpose is to redo the Spire. I really do appreciate the amount of work that went into this mod, but I will do everything in my power to never have to deactivate/reactivate it. Never again will I look at a flight of stairs and think 'Yay! Exercise!'

Ye gods, the new froscrag is f***ing gorgeous, your giant aylied city not so much.
The scale gives it a nice sense of grandeur but traversing endlessly repeating ruins, stairs, corridors and killing the same few npcs is f***ing boring and just to get to a almost unbeatable boss makes it worse.
If your going to get this mod do so, the new frostcrag makes the vanilla one look like a fancy lean-to but the rest don't bother with.

Keep up the goo work
Had to Disable the Snowdale mod for Unique Landscapes to prevent clipping/tearing issues
