One of the best mods I played. Maybe the best one tied with The Lost Spires. Spires rule in graphic design, music and technical details, HOD beats it with the story, quests and riddles, NPC interactions and new ideas.
I'll try to write something like a review:
1) QUESTING: This mod's strong point. The quests and especially the riddles are really awesome, far better than the original Oblivion. Finally you have to apply logical thinking and not simply run after the quest tracker and kill everything that is moving.
Even thought the riddles are all quite easy, they refresh the standard dungeon crawling a great deal. In comparison with "Integration mod" (which also intended to create interactive questing) the riddles consists of actually thinking and not just following patterns. Also the puzzles quite often carry a symbology that corresponds with the story. That is great.
A minor flaw is the necessity of using the translate spell all the time, even if that it makes only sense during the first quest (the time of casting).
2) STORY: Another "pro". The main point is quite orthodox "an evil threatening the world" (but it's really hard to come up with a better idea.. however that fact is unraveled later in the plot and covered in other quite creative lines of the story.
*may contain spoilers*
I've read comments that the outcome is quite easy to predict. I agree, but only partly.. it is easy to guess who is the bad guy, who is "Kat's father" etc. But the lore background and storyline is disclosed gradually while holding breath. And it really makes sense (which is not a standard in fan mods).
*spoilers*
For me, quite negative is the end of Dublin and/or Cat, which is quite illogical and not covered by the plot (although it should be). Logical outcome would be the refused lover runnig away and the other one trying to kill the player to get the artifacts. What's more, it should be imposssible for them even to get to their dying place.
I really like the symbolism in the riddles and the plot as such. *spoiler* For example the curse of white king reversly functioning in the real and the dead world. Great ideas.
3) INTERACTION: The mod creates simple but nicely working relationships between the main NPCs. I recalled Gothic, which worked a similar way and I really liked it. The best thing is that (unlike in other mods) the other characters do not just stare in a guildhall while the PC saves the day, but they actually participate and act according to their personality!
On the other hand, the roleplay is quite limited in this mod. The player has quite often no choice in the dialogue.. so it's more like movie intermezzo. Sometimes the choices (or non-choices) are really unthinkable. *spoiler* For example you can choose to "embrace" Kat on the first something-like-a-date, or tell her off so that she runs away to die.. crazy
. I accept this fact on the grounds that the author needed to create a catchy story pattern and could not complicate it much, because it would bring a lot more scripting and voicing. Still, it's more like a movie.
The possibility to have a smoothly functioning companion is also a great "pro" and I think a best reward for finishing the quest (instead of loads of useless weapon-garbage).
Thumbs up for the NPC comments "bashing" some of the RPG cliche.
In spite of the flaws this is far better than mods that just resign on having NPC interaction.
4) DIFFICULTY: Combat-wise the mod is quite easy. At least if you play effective levelling, on the (recommended) 15th level there is no real obstacle. The riddles are moderate.
This fact is not bad itself, but at least the bosses would deserve more. Inar should survive more than a few blows (I know.. the "Keening" sword and all that) and Lorkham (though after becoming "petty") should be at least stronger than the dreaming guardians.
5) GRAPHICS, SOUND: I would simply say "nice work". NPCs and their apparell look great (the black hunters, Wintermoon), the ambients are not as good, but still (especially the temples and the dead world) make impression.
Voicing is good (great for amateur work), thumbs up for the "dreaming Kat" btw. The music could be less orthodox, I barely noticed a custom theme.
6) ANNOYING THINGS: There are a few of them.
Unlike my predecessors I noticed really a few bugs.. so good cleaning work. Mainly the game crushes after a longer playing period when entering/leaving a place. But I have really a lot of mods installed, so it could be due to some of them.
The visual effect of the curse.. it makes the game unplayable in 3rd person.
The fact that the game strips the player when sleeping.. I've lost my Skeleton Key twice.
The fact that you can't have Wintermoon as a companion if you want Kat to survive. The fact that you can't romance Wintermoon! (This is just personal
That's all I could come up with. Thank you for this great mod! Cheers.

I have given this file my endorsement.
Its one of the greatest mods ive seen. It got great story and an amazing selection of costum weapons it got riddles, puzzles its own npc with voice acting.
You can clearly hear that some NPCs isnt from the original game becouse they lack the "olivion voice" sound but its still great.
