I've been following your work on this for quite some time. How's the progress so far?

Hey, I am glad you have been interested and I have not just been making updates to the void on the Land of Hyrule mod lol. The storyline is written, most models are complete, and most worldspaces are complete or nearing complete. The quest line is about 85% implemented.

Anyway, I got some more screenshots for you all! I was able to get Object and Tree LOD to work with these, so this will show the map in a nearly finished state.

This is south or east Hyrule Field(I got the orientation of the map wrong by 90 degrees and don't know if I can fix it or not) near the entrance to Kokiri Forest. You can see Death Mountain in the background.

That about does it. I think I might be more or less done with the landscapes at this point, time to move on to navmeshing. Actually, is there someone following this that is good with navmeshes? I can do them fine, I am just not very good with them, and I don't want that to be a problem on down the road.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!! Today, I wanted to share a few special things on the development of the mod; mainly, the subtitle and not only the first official screenshot of the mod, but also the first look at Zelda! Her looks might change a bit depending on feedback, and the dress is actually not yet final either. Now, I also have one final thing to announce; I am now looking at releasing the final version of the mod by the end of February at the latest, but it could be earlier depending on how testing goes. I am very sorry about not being able to get it out this year like I had originally planned to. When I said that, I had yet to actually start mod making in the creation kit, so that was just an estimate. Now I feel pretty confident in that timeframe, and I myself would be very disapointed if it ended up coming out before Twilight Princess HD.

P.S. I made the nexus post for Zelda: Land of Hyrule private a few weeks ago. This was because another popular Zelda mod, Hyrule: Total War, was posted to steam greenlight without the author's permission, and I could see things potentially getting out of hand quick. I made it private to prevent something like that happening to this mod before it was even finished, or, in the worst case scenario, keep it hidden if Nintendo started to bring the hammer down on Zelda stuff. Thankfully, it was taken down without incident. Still, I will be keeping the nexus post hidden until the project is complete. If you want to play around in Hyrule, you can test for me. Have a happy New Year everyone!

doesnt Zelda have blonde hair? i know in some iterations though she has a light brown hair though, but i dont recall her having red hair.

My version of Zelda takes more inspiration from her classic NES design, in which she is depicted as having red hair.
