Melee combat - Change parry to block.

Hey Guys!
I'm new in your awesome community, bringing here my very first (and have no clue how real is this) suggestion:
While using melee weapons Instead of that parry move on right click, I wish I can block melee attacks so long as I want to, just like it was in TES games. Maybe with a little stamina/life drain, or even without it, that's also would be nice. Is that possible to tweak this somehow? Also, I'd like to see all melee animations a little bit quicker or customizable (for slow and medium weps especially), but this is optional.
Cheers.

Hi guys. I would also like to block for as long as I hold block with no AP cost please? The way it is now, I can't time it to actually block anything so it is effectively useless for me.

I also had a cheat idea to make blocking ranged attacks cause the Ricochet effect perk. Just a thought

This is super cool idea, but I highly doubt it is possible to make, but it can be crazy awesome perk though. Like Genji's reflection skill (from Overwatch), if you know what I mean. Just imagine reflecting Fatboy missiles back to foes lol... but ofc, do not sure if this even possible :\

This could be linked to the Ricochet perk where it increases your chance to rebound bullets into your enemy, if you're holding block at the time, with a little stamina cost per sec, it could increase to 25% - With Progressively higher end Power Armor this could be increased to 50% - not totally overpowered make it only work on small arms fire so it's still somewhat Canon.

if you need to use a resource you could somehow utilize the DAMAGE THRESHOLD mod http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/7573/?

"(Thanks to some neat work by Bethesda, NPCs will recognise if they can't damage a target and won't attack it. If they have no targets they can hurt, they'll simply flee".)

It would be perfect for Realistic Survival Damage mod http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/333/?
