JudgeMental
Currently at version 0.3 but I need help making pipboy screen clear so color map is visible....... Unlike fallout 3 it was quite easy to get rid of th scanlines and such from the pipboy screen. I have tried the clear textures I had from F3 but using them was no luck. I have the appropriate lines in my .ini sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\ fBlurRadiusPipboy=0fBlurIntensityPipboy=0.00fScanlineScalePipboy=0bEnableFlickerPipboy=0bUsePipboyMode=1 bEnableFlickerMenus=0bEnableScanlinesMenus=0bEnableScanlinesPipboy=0fBlurRadiusMenus=0.0000bUseImageSpaceMenuFX=0fBlurIntensityHUD=0.0000fBlurRadiusHUD=0.0000fScanlineFrequencyHUD=0.0000 I can only assume it has something to do with the pipboy color options but not really sure. Anyway I have a BEAUTIFUL color map I made but I can't get it to display properly in the pipboy. If anyone knows what textures I need to make alpha or if there is command I am missing I am all ears. KimberJ
we used to use a white pipboy color to get around it, idk turn the interface an pipboy white, that's all colors in 255 if it helps.
JudgeMental
Changing the color would not be the answer. But thank you for a suggestion.
KimberJ
Did you try it, because we seriously had to do that in FO3 an FNV. The white transparent overlay an text in the pipboy is what allowed color maps to be color. Without that it's tinted whatever color the user picked. JudgeMental
I did try this with the color and no luck. The mod is up to v0.8.0 now and downloadable. Feel free to give it a try. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3698/? Edited December 1, 2015 by JudgeMental
