This is good, now I begin sprinting as soon as I see a giant rad in the distance.... Fun :-)

Thank you very much. With realistic health/headshots, this mod is MUST HAVE.

Not perfect, but it's better than vanilla. Now if only there was separate DT/DR for different damage types.

I have given this file my endorsement.
Works EXACTLY as described.
However, as warned by the modder, this will drastically change the gameplay. At least, in the following ways:
1. Most automatic weapons suck now. Badly.
2. Most energy weapons will fail. Horrifically.
3. Shotguns... please remember to use slug ammo.
4. Melee is okay, Unarmed is just silly.
5. With default weapons, your companions won't be able to help you much against rad-scorpions, deathclaws, robots, and heavy armored humanoids (in late game).
6. If you have DT >50, you are a god. You can now stand in the MIDDLE of a fight against the Brotherhood and they can't even touch you, not even with missiles.
As someone mentioned below, it'd be great to have a more balanced mix with DR/DT.
*As a side note, in terms of "realism," you'd need to consider this: shockwave. Part of the reason why armor is rather pointless without proper buffering.

I have given this file my endorsement.
I'm endorsing since it does do exactly as it says (and I still get close to death in the final battle even with moderate DT... I tend to only wear light armour as a style preference), but I still think a DT/DR mix would be good. Suggestion for an alternate mod: halve each armor's DT value and give it a DR rating equal to its old DT rating. So armor that used to be DT 10 is now DT 5/DR 10, meaning a 10 DAM weapon still deals 4-5 points of damage, while a 20 DAM weapon will deal about 13, and a 50 DAM weapon will deal close to 40. It still completely negates weak weapons and protects against heavy weapons, but protects proportionally less against heavier weapons (which makes sense). This would probably require modding every armour item in the game, and wouldn't work for armour added in via mods (unless adjusted accordingly or if NVSE allows some sort of modDT/modDR scripting).
Also, I am currently running this with "Freakin' Laser Beams" (http://newvegasnexus...le.php?id=36534) and "Critical DT Reduction" (http://newvegasnexus...le.php?id=37027).
It helps take some of the silliness out of being spammed by gatling lasers and miniguns and taking no damage while in light armor.
@KayneOP: How do you get DT>50?

This is a goodfun mod. Makes having decent armor an actual possibilty, instead of being killed in a remnant Godarmor by a Fiend with a switchblade.
Can cause funny things as well. In between Nelson and Forlorn is a miniminefield, being as there are about three or four mines in the area. On the Forlorn side of the field, I came across a group of Legion and NCR troops fighting each other. Only problem was they were all using caravan shotguns, which do nothing against the standard trooper armor. So I, wearing my fancy combat armor R-Mk2 kit, ended up just sitting and watching these mooks duking it out endlessly. Eventually one of them had the gun shot out of his hand, and he pulled out his machete. He almost stood a chance...until he walked onto a mine.
TL;DR: Good times to be had.
