@ zelazko: Use notepad to open up Data\menus\prefabs\darn\inventory_config.xml, search for "Enable grid view for the specified tab". Change all the "&false" to "&true" if that's what you want for all the tabs.

Thank you ^^ but is there way to make the icons in inventory a bit bigger? For example when I loot dead bodies or buy from merchants the icons are still small...

@ zelazko: Certainly, but increasing the icon size means you'll need to decrease the number of items shown at once. Since I've seen a few people asking about this... Here's an example for increased icon size, editing the same xml file:

<!-- >
  The main settings for the item list
<- -->
	<_iListNumRows> 11 </_iListNumRows> <!-- DarN 9 -->
	<_iListItemSize> 50 </_iListItemSize> <!-- DarN 48 -->
	<_iListIconSize> 43 </_iListIconSize> <!-- DarN 32 -->
Mess around with the numbers if you want it even bigger. But this only affects the player's inventory, looting/merchants will still be the same. Bit more involved to hack those, not going to do that. :P

Changing these settings works but only for player inventory. Looting and merchant inventory is having still small icons....
BTW
COMPASS
	-->
	<!-- Show? (def. 1) -->
	<_cv> 1 </_cv>
	<!-- Width - [50-300] (def. 300) -->
	<_cw> 300 </_cw>
	<!-- Position (def. 0,-15) -->
	<_cx> 10 </_cx>
	<_cy> 10 </_cy>

These are settings for compass. Anytime I edit _cx or _cy value it does nothing to change position of the compass in-game. Very weird....

BTW

How to elevate this compass so it is a bit higher, not lying on the edge of screen?

COMPASS
	-->
	<!-- Show? (def. 1) -->
	<_cv> 1 </_cv>
	<!-- Width - [50-300] (def. 300) -->
	<_cw> 300 </_cw>

So is there a way to save the ui? Having to fix it up every time really sucks.

Loving this mod, especially now that I've found out how to save my HUD settings :)

HOW?! D:

Hey, there is obviously a lot of love and sweat that has gone into this mod. My favorite part is the colored map!

I do have a complaint though, and that is the smaller text size. I am blind enough that I really do need the vanilla size text.

This works well on larger moniters and tvs, the size was good on my 40" tv at 1920x1080 resolution but on my laptops 15" screen at 1366x768 resolution its to small. An optional version for smaller moniters and laptops would be great.
