It can't save the settings, since it can't modify the XML files.+
You have to manually edit the XML files in the Data/Menus folder for permanent changes.
Or, you can use DarNifiedUI Config Addon

PLEASE tell me there is a way to move the reticle in 3rd person. Putting it there doesn't help enough, your character is in the way so trying archery is still a pain.
