im an assasin type of guy, and argonians can breathe underwater and strike from there^^

My all-time fave is the Argonian race. They're perfect for the cross-country explorer with water-breathing and enhanced athletics. Plus, you can make argonians in ANY color you can imagine.

I always end up playing Bosmer somehow, though I play around with the appearance a bit because the default faces just don't look right to me.

My favorite is definitely a Wood Elf. I sometimes try to get a different race but always decide on Wood Elf in the end. x.x
