It is an occurrence for me, that I rather simply followed the instructions for using the MANUAL version.
This way, _I_ track what changed and to not worry about other set personals becoming changed should I uninstall ArchiveInvalidated.....er, wait, why the FSCK would I want to do that for?!
And to second, what INI settings DIRECTLY affected by Invalidated need be a certain way for a collection of mods? Some texture replacers still write of using antique TXT Archive edits that say may need these settings changed. Well, I have used many of them by simply un-packaging images into appropriate dir, and play. No fuss. No muss. If I want to OCD my control of the FO3 Universe, I bug support mods and create my own. Not wade through hopeless length TXT file to add/remove every time I decide to test or toss something. And further, is well documented exactly WHAT lines are changed, only so many options there, if De-Activate messes one, change it and move on.
In other, FO3 on my Vista is installed to default path. I did no change to UAC, but I did use a Shell Command to "Take Ownership" of the entire FO3 Dir. Simple, no fuss, everything works perfectly. Understand more of the system (in both hardware and software) and minor technical hiccups (should they ever happen) will easily resolve. In this case, the instructions are not vague, but they technically are incorrect. But for a simplicity of unilateral address, simpler to install to other than "Program Files" or understand how Ownership and/or UAC in Vista work.
Bad votes are not killed for Glory of Maker or Mod, but because what few there are, fail to follow guidelines for supporting the negative view.
Read above, this is false as it does just fine. Providing OS properly cared for, I have done Manual->Off->Automatic->Off->Manual with no flaw. So NO the instructions do NOT need to include that as any thing other than as a CASUAL SUGGESTION.
I am done now, for the moment. Apologies Quazzy, I have read whole thread, so I am frustration for you. This mod so simple I overlooked even a thread for it until now. Apparently already has held File of the Month, will not allow me to say it again. So, Thank you.

There's no installing mods with lots of textures without this.
