Great companion.

Just a little thing though. Sometimes the "Hello" line when you speak to her with her following will lock the game on that text box, and the only thing you can do is reload a save.

my favorite companion. been having random issues with her getting 'stuck' - as in, i talk to her, her dialog comes up, but she doesn't say anything and the greeting just stays up on the screen rather than switching to her menu -- essentially freezing the game.

i'm now downloading RC1, and hoping it'll fix the issue.

This is one of my favorite mods, I really like being able to pick and choose what outfit and accessories she wears (I like the robes) and the pip boy light is a nice touch too.

Though, having her able to repair stuff to near 100% is almost a cheat since you can buy junk items, have her repair then take the caps back, then sell the items back to the vendor for a profit.....then again equipment degrades so fast in vanilla I can see this being something to make up for it. If there was a way to have her permanently take the caps for repair it'd probably be better.

The menu freeze issue is annoying but I've just made it a habit to do a quicksave before changing areas, then talk to her right away and reload if she's frozen.

If you still need help with storyline for her I'm sure I could come up with something.

Im loving this companion, although now with 5 girls following me everywhere I'm not so much a Lone Wanderer as a lucky wanderer, its also making going through doors trickey Guess I'll have to cut down and choose 2 or 3 max to follow me. Jessi is deffinetly staying though.

I think a nice story to explain the pibboy is that if she recieved it from her mother, (no mention of father) and not from a vaults overseer at age 10 then maybe she didn't grow up in a vault but somewhere else.

Perhaps her mother lived in a vault settled down somewhere had Jessi. Then in a nice mirroring of the players own story perhaps her mother left without word and Jessi is out scouring the wastes for her hoping to find a trail to follow. Enter the lone wanderer!

Also of note, in the DLC there is a garry clone corpse with a shredded forarm. Obviously caused by the removal of the pipboy to try gaining access to the simulation by the outcasts (and failed presumably). This would make me believe that without specialist equipment the mother couldn't give her own pipboy to Jessi but it would have to be another one (possibly her fathers?). That or Jessi already scavenged it from her own mothers corpse but when looking in her eyes I can't believe that she would do that
