kush4201996
Hello this is my first post forgive me if i don't stick to the guideline. I reinstalled skyrim recently , installed a bunch of mods and started my play through. it has been good till i reached fort greymoor. when i enter my fps drops below 30 in the middle of the junction( the very middle of the path ways that lead to 4 other rooms) if i leave that specific spot fps goes to 60 however it keeps going down in other areas inside too. And i have never seen rain in game only though a console command that the true storms author provided. Can some one help me troubleshoot this and also give me advice on what mods to install alongside what i have already installed ( patches). i hear of some memory patch or something in comments but cant find them and don't know if they are obsolete. Also should i install ENB boost i don't know because i already have Vividian enb. My PC specs: I5 4690k ( stock speeds )R9 290x 4GB ( stock speeds )8GB Kingston RAM ( stock speeds )1 TB hard drive (194 gb free on the drive skyrim is installed in E:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim ) All mods are the latest version and so is the enb binary thing I have done the tweaks which are listed here only http://insane0hflex.github.io/moddingforge-skyrim/gettingstarted.html And a grass tweak mention in skyrim floral overhaul Here is my loot order 0 0 Skyrim.esm1 1 Update.esm2 2 Dawnguard.esm3 3 HearthFires.esm4 4 Dragonborn.esm5 5 Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch.esp6 6 Lanterns Of Skyrim - All In One - Main.esm7 7 ClimatesOfTamriel.esm8 8 HighResTexturePack01.esp9 9 HighResTexturePack02.esp10 a HighResTexturePack03.esp11 b Unofficial High Resolution Patch.esp12 c SkyUI.esp13 d AHZmoreHUD.esp14 e iHUD.esp15 f BetterQuestObjectives.esp16 10 OpenFaceGuardHelmets.esp17 11 dD - Enhanced Blood Main.esp18 12 dD-Dragonborn-Dawnguard-EBT Patch.esp19 13 Purewaters.esp20 14 WetandCold.esp21 15 WetandCold - Ashes.esp22 16 When Vampires Attack.esp23 17 dD - Realistic Ragdoll Force - Realistic.esp24 18 EnhancedLightsandFX.esp25 19 ELFX - Exteriors.esp26 1a PWwaterfall.esp27 1b Run For Your Lives.esp28 1c ELE_Legendary_Lite.esp29 1d Book Covers Skyrim.esp30 1e aMidianBorn_ContentAddon.esp31 1f AMB Glass Variants Lore.esp32 20 Differently Ebony.esp33 21 aMidianborn_Skyforge_Weapons.esp34 22 Auto Unequip Ammo.esp35 23 SMIM-Merged-All.esp36 24 better_torches_brighter_torchlight.esp37 25 mintylightningmod.esp38 26 MintyLightningMod_COT_Patch.esp39 27 WondersofWeather.esp40 28 Vividian - Weather Patch CoT.esp41 29 Vividian - Extended Weathers - CoT.esp42 2a SpellChargingFramework.esp43 2b VioLens.esp44 2c Skyrim Flora Overhaul.esp45 2d SumOverPath.esp46 2e Apocalypse - The Spell Package.esp47 2f Apocalypse - Dragonborn Staff Crafting.esp48 30 SpellComboV2.esp49 31 Lanterns Of Skyrim - All In One - Climates of Tamriel - default.espLanterns Of Skyrim - All In One - Climates of Tamriel - lvl-1.espLanterns Of Skyrim - All In One - Climates of Tamriel - lvl-2.espLanterns Of Skyrim - All In One - Climates of Tamriel - lvl-3.espLanterns Of Skyrim - All In One - Climates of Tamriel - lvl-4.esp50 32 Vividian - Lanterns of Skyrim Preset.esp51 33 Vividian - Torches Preset.esp52 34 Vividian - Weather Patch Vanilla.esp53 35 EpisodeParallax.esp54 36 AMatterOfTime.esp55 37 SFO - Dragonborn.esp56 38 ClimatesOfTamriel-Dawnguard-Patch.esp57 39 ClimatesOfTamriel-Dragonborn-Patch.esp58 3a TrueStorms.esp59 3b TrueStorms-ClimatesOfTamriel.esp Edited January 20, 2016 by kush4201996
jones177
Hi ENBoost is for people that don't use ENB. The frame rate drops are in the game. The trick is not to feel them. If you can get the frame rate drops into the 40s it is like they are not there. Switching off features & even adding features can help. WolfLuyt
Hi ENBoost might help make sure you use the correct GPU size in your case 4GB..but it would also depend on what mods you are using. If you are using a lot of performance heavy mods even on your system it may cause problems. I have found that using D3D Overrider and forcing tripple Buffering while enabling Vsync made my game a lot smoother. TacticalSand
I know the culprit here. It`s because of a peculiar incompatiblity between elfx and smim in that area. There is probably a 3d candler hanging in that cell. You should use this:http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/60603/? You allready have enbboost if you are using an enbpreset. So that`s not important for you. You do however want to have the SKSE memory patch. http://wiki.step-project.com/Skyrim_Script_Extender [Memory]DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768ScrapHeapSizeMB=256 Dowload SKSE from this site;http://skse.silverlock.org/ and follow the good advice on the STEP site Edited January 23, 2016 by TacticalSand
