Can you change it not be just normal mod, meaning that you dont have to use console to spawn this armor?


Have considered that, so it doesn't feel as much as cheating. Unfortunately I only just started to use the toolset less than a month ago, so for the time being I can't at this moment. I am however planning to look into that after I have gotten all quirks ironed out from the current version. Either by just putting it all on the first ogre, or scatter out the pieces through Ferelden. Havn't decided yet :)

amycus, Good to know. Only asking cause for some reason I cant get console to work for second time :D

If you make it into non console version, then maybe make it avaible from Bodhan

I promise I will look into alternate ways sooner or later :biggrin: Right now my priority list is:
1) Get a basic texture that people like at least somewhat (all those mega man comments really got to me :teehee: ). hopefully I can take that from the list now with todays update, but we will see
2) iron out the mesh's skin modifier. If you are a battlemage you will notice that the arms stretch quite weirdly in some animations.
3) Make the sword and shield from the trailer (really easy compared to making custom armor)
4) THEN I can finally look at other ways to get it all in-game

It looks good now!

But I am still vouching for the "bigger breastplate". :)

Compare to this render, you can especially see that the back plate is covering bigger part of the body.

@amycus Great job, the armor looks much better and more accurate to the Grey Warden trailer armor, but can you please fix the body armor color because it doesn't match with the color of the helm, gauntlets, and boots.

o_O That's a surprise - That's actually the reference pictures I used originally for the mesh - at least to this stage:

I guess the propotions got a little lost after trying to place it on the human male base model. I see the problem now though, so I will try and fix that

You sure you don't want the whole helmet instead? Helmets are in my opinion even easier to do than weapons, and that helmet you linked seemed to fit the DA style.
I was actually planning to do a helmet pack after this project. However I'm a bit reluctant to adding holes to this specific piece since I'm trying to make it as close to the concept art at the moment.
If I find the time though I will see if I can make it as an optional file.

Oh, and as for the textures, let's just say that the problem was caused by my inexperience of working with dds files. Will probably have to redo the textures after resizing the cuirass anyway, so I promise I will get it right next time ><

Sure, I would love to see you make the Narnia helm, that would be very awesome. Hopefully you get it right.

Btw the gauntlets didn't work when I downloaded the armor? Did you fix the problem already?
