Problems applying a glowmap to Durnehviir

I'm not a stranger to glow maps. I've successfully used them several times. For some reason, I'm having issues applying a purple glow map to Durnehviir. His vanilla "shader type" is "multilayer parallax." Setting the shader type to "glow shader" seems to render him invisible. I thought I could bypass this just by designating the glow map in "shader flags 2." Doing that results in a strangely pink body, as though the diffuse map is being read as the glow map, despite making sure my files are designated correctly. I've tried using this bypass with the "shader type" set to "default" as well, but it seems to make no difference whatsoever.

It's probably something really obvious and stupid. Between this and the problems I've been having with Maya (college work) lately, I'm really fed up with anything three dimensional. lol
