I don't like what they did with healing spells. First of all they removed most of them... what happened to regeneration etc? Now you've got...heal and group heal, the latter requires you to activate a sustained healing ability. Wtf? Healing is part of the game, and it feels like they nerfed the crap out of it in favor of, I guess, console gamers not wanting to worry about it too much.
I also hate the new fight styles. Warriors charging towards enemies is cool, enemies bloodsploding into a dozen or more parts from a couple sword swings screams 'this game is for teenagers omigad kewl!'.
Also what the f bioware, did you fire half of your level design team? There were very few reused maps in DAO, but it seems like more than half of the content in DA2 uses the same dungeon map, just with different doors inaccessible, or starting you at the opposite end, or other such tricks to make it seem like a different area when really it's the same freaking place. And you know what makes it worse? The minimap shows the areas that have been blocked off, which 1. makes it really obvious that you're in a recycled area and 2) makes it confusing because you think you can go that way from looking at the minimap, but no, there's a big stone turd blocking the doorway.
will DA3 fix the DA2 issues?
