Blender 2.49B and Windows 10?

Is anyone using this combination and how does it work?

My situation right now is my desktop is dying - could be the GPU or it could be Power Supply. I'm sure I could trouble shoot it and get it straightened out but it is already 7 years old and it's time for a new one. My OS options seem to be Win8.1 or Win10 and my main concern is how it will work with modding tools - Blender, Nifskope, Conformulator, PhotoShop CS5.

Any input you've got would be much appreciated.

They're working just fine for me, though I'm using Photoshop CS4. You'll need to make sure to reinstall DirectX to make nifskope's render work properly.

I used NifSkope and Blender with both OS and they work fine. I didn't use Blender 2.49B longer then a few minutes though, because I like the newer version much more. Currently I use Win10 with NifSkope 1.?, NifSkope 2.0 Pre-Alpha, Blender 2.76 and 3ds Max 2016 and didn't run into any problems so far.
