Request Final Fantasy xi single player mod.

So i was wondering if some one can make a single player emulator for ffxi like so you can play the current update in single player.

scene the release of alter egos on ffxi i think you could set it so alter egos are alowed in all battles and and a way to get all of them that be cool too.

cause then you could play final fantasy xi completely single player

Not possible. It's an online game, and despite being on consoles most the actual gameplay (locations of npcs, quests, ect) is handled by the servers. Generally, the only things done locally in games like this is just a storage of assets.

With Console games you don't have the folders like you get with PC games so its not a case of just clicking the zip file and dropping it into the right folder or using programs like NMM. To mod a console game you would have to break into the games program and to do that you would need to know alot about hacking to know what date to delete and replace.

going to on to private servers would it be possable to covert one of them to play more lan? like i wouldnt mind running a virtual server but i realy dont know if some one could make like a virtual server with the presets like the game.

theres private servers i seen that are completely up to date.and get the updates out to us realy fast like within the week

That is a discussion for another place since those servers are technically illegal due to infringing on the software copyrights and is not allowed here.
