hey guys. im having an issue that started yesterday. ive been modding my fallout 4 for a while now and its been mostly problem free. that changed yesterday when i installed beautiful sanctuary. the mod itself has loaded and looks great. my issue is when i go to workshop mode and scroll along to the doors section i ctd. ive done the usual noob stuff and randomly moved the mod up and down the load order list but having no luck. still ctd on the doors section. ive uploaded my load order in the hope someone far wiser than me can take a look and tell me what i need to do.

all help is very much appreciated

thanks

Following that guide thoroughly should allow you to get it to work. Homemaker does not have any general CTD issues. With every issue I helped to solve, it's always been on the user's side or due to other flawed or incompatible mods.

If you worked through it completely and still have issues, describe them and post your new load order here in spoiler tags, and I will gladly help you (as in: tell you, which part of the guide you chose to ignore and then curse you for doing so! :D)

fyi i should point out that im still running 1.2 as i read of many issues with 1.3 causing mods to not work?

There are no general issues with Fallout 1.3. It just again tries to disable mods by clearing the plugins.txt and some people claimed, it cleared their Fallout4Custom.ini as well.

Make plugins.txt read-only and only allow NMM to override it. Double-check the Fallout4Custom.ini for the necessary archive invalidation setting after updating (covered in the guide). Then launch Fallout directly from NMM, not from Steam or Fallout's launcher and that issue should not arise.

The rest of the issues people had with the update, are also more or less covered by the guide (CTD due to incompatible textures for example). So I'd recommend to get the Fallout update, since it also fixes some issues.

As for Homemaker: refer to rule #8... Homemaker only provides one file that is not listed under "old versions"

well wax, despite my reservations, Homemaker has installed succesfully. ive been testing/building for a couple of days now hence no reply here but all seems to be working as it should be. makes me wonder what happened on my previous attempts but hey, as of now i dont care lol. it works! no ctd on any category. so wax, thankyou very much for your help and time. i know if i hadve had problems you wouldve helped me so thankyou. :)

I probably would have yelled at you... or at my screen on behalf of you... but yeah... I probably would have helped anyways

Glad to see you got it sorted out. I am quite certain that your earlier CTD issues when using Homemaker were also related to SSEx, hence why it now works as it should
