I found an "hellfire armor: and it display very weird , and in the pip it also reports an error.

It makes impossible for VATS to hit too if any enemy is wearing it.

What should I do? I equipped Charon with it so to show you.

the MODS I downloaded dont have any folder, just 3 files each:

one .esm and 2 .bsa

I am sorry I am new to fallout 3 maybe I did not download something I was supposed to? I am sorry if I am wasting your time, but if you can help me I will be grateful.

Thank you very much.

Alright, all 3 files need to go into your "Data" folder. Since you're new to this, do you have archive-invalidation enabled?

If you don't have it yet: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=944

Better yet, try FoMM: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=640 (it'll also allow you to easily manage mods you've installed)

Good luck

I cannot stress the importance of FOMM enough. I install every mod with FOMM, even if it does not have an fmod info file. This is because you can MAKE it an fmod, easilly, by extracting the files into their own subdirectory, and Creating from Directory. This makes things like Texture replacers a snap to disable if it turns out I don't like them.

I'm sorry for posting here but I seriously can't find another post on the internet thats as close to the problem that I'm having.

So far I've only noticed this problem with the ".44 magnum" I don't have any missing textures or meshes when it comes to using the gun. I can use the gun fine....However, while in the pipboy menu I get an "pipos error 26" with no icon of the gun. It's really not a big deal, it doesn't effect gameplay. But its really annoying. The scoped .44 mag has an icon and displays great. I havn't installed any mods and I still get this error.

I dunno if this is normal. I've seen on youtube videos people having the same problem with their .44 mag but they don't ever mention it as a problem. I DID USE console commands to obtain the .44 mag. Maybe I'm unknowingly spawning a weapon that your not supposed to get in the game normally? I really don't know and it wouldn't make sense that the icon works fine with the scoped .44 but not the normal .44.

Can anyone suggest anything to help?

I've read a couple posts about patch 1.7. I've tried updating to 1.7 it literately does nothing. Same problem persists. I'm using GOTY edition of fallout 3. No mods, just all dlc content. I've also tried using FOMM and all it did but update to my game files and list a load order. I tried launching fallout from FOMM but the same problem persists no 44 icon in the pipboy. I can't seems to get an icon to show up for the .44 mag while navigating through the pipboy. Again I'm unsure if any other weapons have this problem. This is the only weapon I've noticed the problem with
