I have just recently started to make custom items for Dragon Age 2, I can change the stats, name, and description. However the textures and model are always that of the weapon I started with. I am not very good at modeling, so I am content to leave that as is, however I would love the ability to make the weapons use custom textures of my own creation. Any ideas on how to do this?

You'd need to add a new entry in item_variations.gda with your custom model and then change the item's modelvariation to reference that new entry.

How do I add a new model to the game, I have edited the item_variations.gda and edited the items uti to correspond to the new entry. However when I equip the item in game it is invisible. I am pretty sure it is because I am referencing a model that does not exist, that is what 1005 g2da_column_1 represents correct?

So I guess my question is what file do I need to edit to get new models?

and thank you so much for your help.
