It seems like ever since 1.3 came out, Malcom is not as quick at catching up with The Courier as he was before. What's the farthest you've gotten into the game main quest before he finallly caught up with you?

My entire first playthrough I was wondering why I couldn't use the star caps like normal caps. He just never appeared. Maybe he died? No clue.

Well I usualy dont make it past novac without him hitting me, but One time I did see him coming and try to out run him. Apparently the Deathclaws north of primm are his croonies however because they sure as hell werent letting me get away without a word with their boss!

I always go straight to Vegas, don't bother with primm and the other places until later in the game...

I remember that he ran into a horde of raider on my way to Vegas, so he came up soon enough to get to me before I got to Vegas.

He is to slow. I actually had to search for him, finally i saw him just outside of Primm running away from radroaches...

Usually it's sometime around when I get to Freeside.

I hardly ever go to Red Rock, he caught up to me there once. I always liked it when he showed up at the observation tower on top of Helios One.
