Maybe someone can link to examples of this dictatorial behavior? The bans are done openly and listed here. Before linking remember that this is a private site and you should ask yourself would you have put up with a stranger behaving like that in your home?
Would you put up with someone you've invited in swearing at others?
Would you tolerate someone you've invited in insulting others?
Would you put up with someone who demanded changes to how you ran your household?
Would you be happy for someone to bring stolen goods into your home with the intention of distributing them from there?
Would you not mind them sticking pornographic images on your living room wall?
You may well have a arsehats welcome policy in your home, if so you may of noticed that your only visitors are in fact arsehats, there would be a reason for that.

This thread is a barrel of laughs made from fine wine grapes grown from soil composed of old troll corpse compost!
There are only a few forums that actually are decent, and of them; Conceptart, thenexus, and cgsociety are up there in my top 5.

I agree with that thread's OP, and this thread's OP. This is a dictatorship. A large majority of the staff here have an insatiable lust for power and control, a thing that I see quite often among communities nowadays. Freedom of speech = freedom of trolling (as long as it doesn't get over the edge), there's nothing wrong with voicing your opinion. If Robin or the other staff members think there is, then they don't understand the basic principle of life: humans are born with natural GOD-GIVEN rights, that NO ONE may take away. This applies to only the US? No. It applies to EVERYONE, EVERYWHERE.
Trollololol.
If that wasn't a troll then you, sir, have no clue. God save us all.

We're doomed! *Covers head, runs for cover*
Okay, that was off-topic. Back on.
I personally don't imagine the nexus as a dictatorship. I imagine it as a website.

People get all swept up in entitlement and seem to forget that websites are private property, sometimes.

We don't own the server, nor pay for it, nor often contribute much to it. We should be thankful we are on here, not whinging about everything.

Robin, I do have a clue. If YOU have a clue, you'd come up with a more intelligent answer.

not even a clue on not having a clue
Your rights to go elsewhere pester whoever you like is yet granted, at least until the new pestered impose their dictatorship on you once again.
As you can (hopefully) see... the site does not affect your freedom at anything else than breaking it's rules.
PS: I fear to read the whole thread and find out than the rights of making the own rules is what is being advocated, I could die of too much laugh.

That was still not intelligent. Robin, you're acting like a little kid with your responses...
