@Aeryn333 I was crashing 3-5 mins.

It might of just been my pc cause Im running at a very large resolution. 1360x768. If you are having 3-5 min crashes untick it and try it out.

I've quit playing new vegas and I am going to buy fallout 3 I didn't really get to explore that game anyways. So no more new vegas for me, I'm sick of starting over on this game.

I think maybe so, mine is fine so in no way am I going to stop using Nevada Skies...I love this mod, along with Fellout its makes my game..

As for Fallout 3 no less buggy..eh thanks to our many talented modders here..its not as big a problem as it could be..
I have played all morning, till now, and its played fine...touch wood again..
I began a new game, why not..its the game you love to hate, eh after reading that long list of fixes, I am actually ready to start again..just to see..

Cheers all..for now all is well..an running smooth.

Killed my load order...If you have FOMM you can export your old load order and repair this messup. In mine, it was just the main esm and the dlc's that got re-dated.

I play at 1080p and didn't have the crash problem. I still have a freezeup when I leave the game.

Can't have everything!

Go here trust me it works..and has for many others also..You do not have to do a clean save, as stated, at least I did not, but you do have to put them where the modder says..
Also the other people here like me, that had the 'home bunker mod', do this and you can have it back..as I am sure is true with some of the other mods people thought they had to lose try it its worth it..
here's the link, trust me it works..

I'm getting bad feelings about this patch, after reading a lot of the comments i'm still wondering if it's safe or not

a long, shameful, pathetic, embarrassing list.

Why release a game to the world that STILL contained all those things over 9 months ago.

Poor Obsidian... Bethsquash didn't give them enough time to *finish* making the game before the agreed release date

What I learned to do a long time ago with New Vegas and Steam, is that I do a clean install with EVERY official patch released via the Steam update--and then I immediately copy that install to individual, version labeled folders on my NAS.

That way, rolling back to a previous, playable patch version of the game is as simple as copying over--or in some cases deleting the existing version on my hard drive and copying the previous version.

I also have all the critical .INIs backed up with the different patched versions as well. And it goes without saying that I turn-off auto updating and play with Steam in offline mode.

It would be better for everyone if we could just download the patches ourselves without having them rammed down our throats without any thought of the consequences.

You'd think game publishers and Steam would have learned from some of the problems caused by Microsoft Updates by now...

I have many mods installed and didn't get any new problems with the latest patch. In fact, it runs much better. But if I did happen to have a bunch of problems I wouldn't have anyone to blame but myself. This is a risk we all take when we install mods to our games. You can't expect the devs to test the latest patches with every single different mod on the site. Or is that what you expect them to do?

Hey Cory you expect everyone to be happy about waiting over half a year for a patch that finally fixes issues they should of fixed the first week of release or sooner? A patch that forces many saves to be abandoned? I have many mods installed and have encountered so many issues I'm just now cleaning up what the patch Shat all over. I think your full of it by sitting in the corner of Bethesda and saying you didn't have issues. Hey bro by no means do we not know the consequences, but this late in the game its a slap in the face more then anything for you to say that Mr. Obvious. Sit back and relax...better yet..... lets see your load order Hero
