So I just picked up F:NV, and I'm curious about the fastest way to get a house. I'm something of a pack rat, and I like collecting trinkets from my wasteland exploits. I had trouble storing things in FO3 before I finally got the Megaton place, and would prefer to avoid that problem in NV.

I looked up where the houses are located at, but having not played the game, locations mean little to me. Which house is fastest to get access to? Or should I just install a mod (like Underground Hideout)?

Most house mods would probably be a lot faster, however, if you just want a vanilla game, then I find the Motel Room in Novac the fastest to get. All you have to do is either pay Jeannie May (possible spelling mistake) 500 Caps or get Liked or more reputation with Novac.

Adds abit of storage around the store/saloon in Goodsprings andmakes the camper to the north a more inviting place to call home.


also adds campfire right by the saloon behond it. very convenient.
