The section with the Qunari battle/burning Kirkwall has been particularly buggy for me, and finally it turns out apparently I can NEVER complete that section.

I could barely get past the conversation with Arishok without repeatedly tapping escape to get through all the cut scenes; otherwise it would just crash in different places - but eventually I got a save just outside the compound.

I battle through the two groups, and then get the part where you speak to the wardens. But when Alistair says the wardens have to go elsewhere (or something along the lines of that,) whichever option I pick, when the camera goes to Hawke's face as if she's about to speak, the game freezes, and when I alt-ctrl-dlt out, the "this program isn't responding" windows box is displayed.

I'm so disappointed, I've been looking forward to this game for so long, and now I can never finish it - as I said, I've tried all the speech options, tried spamming esc to skip the cutscenes, its useless. Never have I played a game so buggy, I could put up with the random shut downs, the large shadow that follows me whenever I'm in Kirkwall, mouths not moving, and silence where there should be dialogue... but I can't really work around not being able to play at all.

Please help.

My advice: lower the graphics' detail and try again.

And provide your h/w specs (well, at least your graphics card and driver version) and list any mods you've installed.
