Sounds like a good plan.Perhaps it ought to be saved for after the first version of the mod is released, then we should add in the ones to become a count.
I'm more interested in your original idea of removing dead bodies & buying houses.

Just an idea for your Count mod ( I agree, by the way, to keeping them seperate. It can be so easy to get confused on what parts belong to which mod). A new criminal figure has risen around one of the towns. He has slowly been gaining trust amongst the bandits and is establishing a bandit 'army' in order to raid the city and ultimately seize control.
Just a thought as to what iminent danger you could save them from.

Ok, I've got a script that should work halfway done, but can someone make me a messagebox to add to it? I be terrible at them.
neesd to give the message "do you want to buy this house for X septims?"
button 1= "yes"
button 2= "no"
if press 1, remove X gold, if 2, do nothing.

ok if you want suggestions for how to obtain countship, maybe:
A Zomibe invasion by a necromancer (everyone is locked in their house so no NPC that isnt essentail wouldnt die)
A Curse you have to lift from the city (maybe cursed to be attacked by deadra or underfryks) and you have to find the mage / necromancer / lich doing it
An invasion from a new life form that summons big spikes around the city bombarding it with fire balls (realy weak fireballs fall from the sky inside the city) and you have to kill thecreatures summoning them
The count/countess dies of an incurable sickness turning them to zombies and you take up the search to kill the creator of the disease
the count/countess turns into a vampire and wants you (if fame high enough) to kill them (no bounty on you) and allows you to become count/countess.
