Lets just calm down with the count/ess thing until we've worked out the script for the houses, then add all the extra little bits in, though I think it should be a wholly different mod for countship.

could be done, im no scripter but there is a mod that makes bodise easier to carie, changing bits of them to work like normal items in havok, so if you used that you could set up open graves in each church graveyard and add a script to check for bodies in that hole, then take all their items and put them in the nearby church, maybe in a chest that the preist has the key to, and he will sell you the key as a one time use item. then once the key is used, the rest of the stuff could be made to disappear, the body in the grave yard would dissapear and all would be nearly done. all youd have to do then is make a massive script to tell the game that whoever has the key owns the house. *gasp for air* *chokes* *dies and falls on enter button*

Np, we were doing alogn the lines of having the house buyable from the count, and the npc just disappears at the moment, though I'll see what i can do- with the graveyard part afterwards. All the dead npcs items, furniture and containers in the house have been left alone, so if the player robs them before hand, they get an empty house.

well you could use Communal Graves (I use it) but edit the "Hole in the ground" to more like the grave he put in the weynon priory (yes the one that looks like he made an effort even tho im no modder)

Well, as soon as someone is kind enough to help with the message box function, I'll be able to properly investigate tombs and graves. Perhaps some of the richer families in the city will have a tomb in the undercroft of their local chapel, or a familly tomb if its the IC, and the poorer ones will be buied in graveyards.

The messagebox function is already present in the page 2 script...
The only thing I'm not 100% sure about that messagebox about is whether the %g represents the price. It was declared, but I don't know for sure if it was done properly.
Might work better

messagebox "Would you like to buy this house for %g?", "Yes", "No", price
Might work better
