Can different vanilla races go for longer without getting the personality penalties? such as Argonians or Orcs wouldn't need to wash as often as say Altmer or Bosmer.

One recommendation that NEEDS to be implemented, public baths, for those people in the game that don't own homes because they are earlier in. Every hotel has a public bath area, its not just little showers but they have a basement area with lots of baths and hot tubs. And there are always people there, men and women, since women back then (assuming this game was based AT LEAST over a 1000 years ago judging by the technology, even though its not the same universe as ours) were not so protective, they shower naked as well, this should be compatible with as many mods that change NPCs faces/bodies as possible. You have to make sure that there are other NPCs in the public baths with you or the mood will be completely killed, and the mod should also be compatible with Bananasplit Open Cities. Also, there should be a few buildings along Tamriel that are only public baths, not both hotels and baths. BTW make sure you add the woman thing, lots more people will download the mod
Any ways. I have NO EXPECTATION what so ever for you to add my recommendations as this is a great mod any ways. Great job
The mod shower thing should be compatible with these:
IFT Improved Facial Textures
HG EyeCandy Body
Xenius Race Compilation

Thanks for the kind comments, everyone.
King Malthas: No, this mod considers all races to become 'dirty' at the same rate.
owlpaw8: Not necessarily (and there are certainly no nude character meshes included in this mod, or anything like that). There's nothing stopping you from removing all the clothes from your character and jumping in one of the bathtubs, though. ;-) Please see the readme/description for more info on how the mod works.
balamshir: Thanks for the suggestions. I'll keep them in mind, but implementing things in the way you describe would result in a mod rife with conflicts with other mods - so it's unlikely.
Lucern1: Thanks - glad you like it.
As the name suggests, the 'bonuses not penalties' version gives a bonus when bathing, and not a penalty if a character doesn't bathe. Thanks for the suggestion - I'll keep it in mind.

This mod can cause save bloat the way you have your peaceable bath tubs set up. Its not enough to simply disable a reference; you have to disable it and then use OBSEs DeleteReference on it. You can test if its been properly deleted with IsRefDeleted.
===Edit===
You might also want to condense some of the redundant script into OBSE user functions to make updating them simpler and less time consuming.

popcorn71: I am (and was) aware of the potential for savegame bloat with the way the placeable item scripts in the mod work. However I never encountered any issues from the fairly small amount of bloat produced by a portable bedroll mod that uses the same technique - and that is something that by its nature (being placed in the game world many times) causes a lot more bloat than this mod does when used as intended. No issues encountered when testing that mod or this one, in other words.
Anyway, I made this mod quite a long time ago, and am no longer actively modding Oblivion. I'm pretty sure that at the time, the DeleteReference command wasn't implemented in OBSE. If I do update this mod again though (which is unlikely), I'll certainly consider using the OBSE functions you mention.

I have to say, I was disappointed there was no animation, just an instant click and be done.

Cipherthe3vil: There are several significant technical hurdles associated with adding animation for this. It really wasn't worth the trouble for the fairly small payoff. In any case, the mod's current implementation is comparable to the way beds (for example) work for the player in vanilla Oblivion: entirely via menu, with no animation.

I ran this mod for a while (a few characters, actually), but ended up removing it. Basically, I felt that it did not add anything to the game: one extra click per game-day to avoid a penalty. One character I played was a ranger who did not wash, but I never felt that having this mod made any difference even for them. After removing it, I practically did not notice it was gone. If this has more of an impact on the game, I believe I would have kept it. Perhaps NPCs flat-out avoiding you, or refusing to speak to you at all, when you have not washed (perhaps on a sliding scale of upper class after one day, middle after two, lower after three, and beggars not caring at all). Then I would have felt that this mod made enough of an impact to warrant keeping.
