Loved the quest, but HARD. Very rewarding in more ways than one tho. Just wanted to say thanks for the amazing mod - so much attention to detail... I love it. Endorsed of course.

I haven't played Oblivion in ages but this was easily the best house mod I ever come across. It's beautiful and feels very personal and I would love to have a house like this in real life =D
Other houses I've felt were too large, disorganised or generic. But this house compared to others houses was like how Shivering Isles was to vanilla Oblivion. Very unique.

Anyways, I hope Hickory does return to modding so we can have an awesome house mod from you two for Skyrim.

Absolutely love this mod!

Not only the house is beautifully designed, but I really love the warm, lived-in feel that it gives; it really feels like home, not just a place to store gear. And speaking of sorting gear, I also liked creative “containers”, such as bookshelves and racks for weapons and armor. Great job of making the house both aesthetically pleasing and practical. Oh, Truffles is so cute~! <3

I also really liked Highwood’s backstory: your and Garreth’s journals were interesting to read and really add to house’s unique character.

My only real disappointment is that I can’t seem to figure out what to do about the mysterious voice in the mill’s attic. I searched every inch of the house, trying to interact with any object I could, and still not getting anywhere. What is worse, I can’t imagine what I could possibly have missed…. *sigh* I do hate unsolved mysteries….

Wow.. nice to get a new comment on Highwood again. :-) Many thanks for the wonderful comments. That voice was Hickory's idea of a little joke. Basically it is just a haunted attic. There is no mystery to solve. The poor guy will never escape that attic. I think Hickory had it set to a 1 in 100 chance of hearing it... something like that. I've only heard it three times total so consider yourself lucky?? heh

This is the most wonderful house mod for Oblivion! I've spent the last two hours exploring, baking, crafting, and hanging out with my new piglet pal. Sincerely one of the most interesting and immersive designs. So many things to do, and a detailed backstory to boot.
Its such a cozy house, too. I love smoking my pipe by the fire while listening to the soothing guitar drift through the house. Its too much to expect from a mod to be this much fun.

You have my endorsement and my many thanks!

Ah, I see. Well, thank you very much clearing this for me, Ithlia.

The haunted attic does add to the house’s uniqueness, though I still wish there was a way to help the poor soul.

@Blackrobed

After I saw your comment, my curiosity was piqued. I spent 20 minutes just switching from the tasting room to the attic. And I was not disappointed.

Hickory has a truly wonderful sense of humor. :)

I’m glad I indirectly helped you to discover something new, Kiaby ^_^

Though personally, I can’t help feeling sorry for the poor guy; since the voice always says the same thing, I somehow picture the ghost constantly re-living the moment of his death.
