Ha! Here's an odd mod related glitch:
I also use an "Actors have torches" mod, which gives "Drop torches" to NPCs, which the player can pick up from them.

When I equip a standard "torch"; normal actions cause the torch to drop (as expected.)
But when I equip a "drop torch" those actions cause every "torch" (not "drop torch") I have in inventory to drop! - Five torches in my test.

Great feedback, dude. That's what I'm looking for. I was hit by hurricane Irene, so was without power and internet for a few days, but all is good now. I'll implement the changes and fixes you mentioned and get a new version up this week.

Thanks.

Irene was a doozy eh? Glad everything is all right for you now (and that the casually rate was so low.)
Looking forward to the update, it's a fine addition to the mod community thus far.

Hey, keep working on this mod; it is a good concept but I believe there is a problem in the coding.

I have a fast computer and graphics card and am running a lot of mods.

I noticed that my game became very laggy after installing your mod. The movement was so choppy that the game was almost unplayable.

I unchecked your mod and the game became responsive again, so I went back to the old torch drop mod.

Anyone else have this problem?

@ Pannel

I can't say for sure about that, but I suspect it is a result of other mods you have. Could you post your load order? I believe if that was happening as a result of my mod itself, there would be more posts with the same problem as you. I have play tested this release more than my previous versions, and I have not encountered that problem. I too have a mid-high end gaming rig.

@ ADParker

Yeah, Irene wasn't a joke. It did some damage where I live, and we didn't even get the effects of a hurricane. It was Tropical Storm force winds for us.
Anyway, the newest version should correct some of the issues you were experiencing. I didn't correct then all for this release, just the ones I feel mandated the foremost attention. Look for the next release to have all issues you mentioned corrected.

@anithinks
Try simpler way. Use OOO-addon included in OOO package. Tag it "script". If you use Cobl and and Cobl's tweak for OOO you may also remove DLT fot key.

Cool. Will check out the update if I can (my machine is not playing nicely at the moment; esp. with Oblivion. Grrr!)

Incompatibility with Enhanced Hotkeys (EH) is probably a deal-breaker for me though. But no matter; I am happy enough with DLT_OBSE, and I am sure others not using EH will appreciate this.

Hi malonn,
Is there possibility to connect other "hand light maker" given by other mods to your DLT ?

@wkomarecki

What do you mean? I don't understand "hand light maker"?
