Okay, I tried it as an alternative to DLT OBSE and as far as I could tell it works as intended. Good job. There's been only one issue that made me revert to DLT - OOO adds Illumination Staves and I tend to use them instead of regular torches, yet when I carry it and get into combat, I drop... a torch (even if I haven't got any). With DLT I drop a torch when I have one out, while I unequip the staff when this is the source of light I'm using. You may want to consider adding this compatibility. Otherwise a nice mod.

I assume this might also be the thing wkomarecki asked about - compatibility (dropping or unequipping) light sources other than torches, and added by third mods.

I've been using OOO for years and never once picked up an illumination staff. I see them all over the place as loot, but never thought about picking one up. I'm a torch kinda guy. But, you bring up something that needs attention. Explain a little about the staves, if you could...you drop a torch when equipping the staff? Even when you don't have a torch in your inventory? I just started a new game yesterday, so I'll pick up a illumination staff and see what's what. Thanks for the feedback.

These staves are equipped just like torches, so once you get ready for combat you get out the sword (or whatever) and shield and the staff (in DLT) is unequipped - you don't drop anything. If, on the other hand, you had a torch in hand, you do drop a torch. With DT when I hold the illumination staff, and the reach for my weapon, I drop a torch. Try it and you'll see what I mean. If you can't re-create this issue, I'll install it again and come back with more details, OK?

I understand what you mean. I'll be able to recreate it and fix it soon. I just picked up an illumination staff yesterday, so today I'll get to fixing it. Thanks again for the feedback.

Let me know if you run into any issues. I may post a screenshot or two...trouble is getting the right ones. A video, perhaps? Do you have any experience with video capture software?

Nope, none, besides my laptop is too weak to run any video capturing program. But ask astrob0y. He makes videos and is good at testing new stuff. Generally he's very open to helping people.

Please let any ideas and complaints flow this way. It helps me get things nailed down with the mod.
