I went to see Graring where there was to find him in a battle. I went and there is no fight, and he tells me to begone. What do I need to do here?

Try passing RA through the console first, then attempt to kill the intruder.

I used the console to move the 3 of them. There is no intruder. My journal says to visit. So I am stumped.

The woman down at the rocks was the attacker. She didn't attack or do anything. I killed her anyway, and that was the right thing to do. Graring thanked me and is making the armor for me.

Well at least you figured it out. As the lady by the river was friendlier, I killed Graring and his two friends. As I have saved the game, I appear to be stuck. Any thoughts?
